Sodom and Gomorrah

Genesis 19: 24: Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

In the Book of Genesis, God destroyed two wicked cities: Sodom and Gomorrah. The name Sodom means “Burning,” and the name Gomorrah means “Submersion.” The meaning of these city names is significant because in the Book of Revelation, another two cities are prophesied to be destroyed, one by submersion into the ocean and the other by burning. Revelation 18 speaks of two Babylon’s, one is representative of Los Angeles from which all of Hollywood’s filth has spread throughout the world, and the other is Rome, within which is the Vatican City State that is the headquarters of Catholicism, the residence of the Pope, and the nucleus of all the corruption in the world.

Los Angeles will sink into the Pacific Ocean after a tremendous earthquake rips up California (Revelation 18: 21: And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.), and the Vatican will be burnt by nuclear fire (Revelation 18: 8 - 10: Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.). As two cities were destroyed at the beginning of the Bible, so two cities are destroyed at the end of the Bible.
