Kings of the four cardinal points

In Daniel 11, we read about the King of the North and the King of the South. Upon this basis we can rightfully assume that there must also be a King of the East and a King of the West, although not specifically written of in the Bible.

The King of the North in ancient times was Syria, being that it borders Israel in the north. However, in modern times, the King of the North became Russia. This was confirmed to us in a series of seven visions the prophet had in 1933 when God admonished the prophet to watch Russia, the King of the North. Ezekiel 38: 15 also makes the following statement: And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: …When looking at a map of the world, it will be seen that Moscow is due north of Jerusalem.

The King of the South in ancient times was Egypt, being that it borders Israel in the south. Syria and Egypt fought a series of wars against each other as is recorded in Daniel 11. The King of the South in modern times is still Egypt, and connected with Egypt are other Arab Islamic states south of Israel.

The kings of the east are spoken of in Revelation 16: 12: And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. However, the great rising giant of the east in today’s world both economically and militarily is China. China is therefore the pre-eminent King of the East, although there are other nations (or kings) from the eastern world that will come against Israel.

The King of the West is America, which has reigned supreme as the world’s superpower since 1945. America is currently on the decline and falling from its superpower status, so that when the Antichrist comes against Israel using ten powerful world leaders who have given their economic and military might to the services of the Roman power according to Revelation 17, America will have no significant part to play in the great drama at that time.
